H2008.167
Long, black, fine synthetic knit, art deco design bodice, women’s underwear slip. Thin spaghetti straps, rounded neckline with geometric art deco design on bodice with satin applique and sheer sections, some applique seams hand repaired with gold/brown thread. Straight cut skirt, with two darts from bust to hips. Left dart hand repaired in gold/brown thread. Hem hand repaired/altered to make skirt shorter. Left underarm seam hand repaired in gold/brown thread. Some creases throughout fabric, ‘peg marks’ on front right waist. Small white spot stain on lower right leg/hem. Reverse: Plain back, ‘peg marks’ on both sides near waist. Hem hand repaired on side seams and through centre. Fabric semi-sheer when held to light.
