Notebook with black cardboard cover. Pages lined. Outer part of book held together with yellow tape, along the spine. Notebook used for recipes. The top corner (outer) of each page has been numbered from 1-146. Some pages have hand-written recipes. Other pages have recipes (from newspapers mainly) glued onto them. Other recipes and food information is loose and is folded up and placed between the pages. Pages 3-15 have handwritten notes on laws and police powers of arrest to do with drunkeness, traffic offences, gaming houses, stolen goods. Book pages stapled down centre spine.
