Dark blue cloth-covered book with a red leather spine. A rectangle of paper glued to the upper spine is marked in ink 'MED'. Book contains original hand-written notes pre-1920 taken by Dr Namon Cass. Contents (p.1) include 'DANDRUFF p.1; GONORRHOEA.p.2; PLAGUEp.12; SMALLPOX p.16; CHICKEN POX p.19; BURNS AND SCALDS p.22; INFLUENZA p.62-64; MIGRAINE p.66; TUBERCULOSIS p.47'. Articles up to at least the mid 1930s also have been pasted in or are contained between pages. Insdie the cover 'B.P. CASS' has been written in ink and pencilled on the following page, the price of the book, '1/6'.
