Six pamphlets titled 'Rules / of the / Fremantle Lumpers' / Union of Workers' which was established 4 July 1889. Pamphlet (A) has a light coloured cardboard cover, with darker green spine. The owner wrote his name on the top right-hand corner of the cover, but this has been partially torn off. Pamphlet was printed at the Fremantle Printery Cliff Street, in 1936. Pamphlet (B) has a pale blue paper cover, with black print and edging. It has two small holes on the cover, and also some doodles in ink. The back cover has some small tears around the edges, and numerals in an addition equation written in pencil. This edition was printed at the Fremantle Printery, Cliff Street, in 1936. Pamphlet (C) has a brown paper cover which is worn and only slightly bent at the corners. Printed on the cover, with an ink stamp, is written 'Registered Amendment - Registrar of Industrial Unions', also handwritten in red ink the name, Frank Walsh, and the date, 30th May 1936. Pamphlet (D) has a pale blue cover, with black printing and a black border. This copy has only a slight bend in the paper at the lower right hand corner. This copy was published by Porter and Salmon 181-189 High Street, Fremantle, in 1930. Pamphlets (E) and (F) are identical editions, with the same covers and similar amounts of wear. They too have pale blue paper covers. This edition was published by The Mercantile Press, General Printers, 8-10 Queen Street, Fremantle, in 1941. The pamphlets are about 30 pages long, and include rates of pay as well at the union rules.
