Pamphlet with sixty four pages entitled 'ROAD WISDOM / WITH HINTS ON / THE CARE / OF YOUR CAR'. Published by Vacuum Oil Company Pty Ltd, Australia and New Zealand. Printed by G.W. Green and Sons, Pty Ltd Lonsdale St, Melbourne. Each page of the pamphlet is illustrated with drawings coloured with shades of red on cream paper with black printing. The pamphlet also advertises Vacuum Oil Co. products such as Plume motor spirit and Gargoyle Mobiloil. Pages 50- 56 feature Mobiloil charts for all the cars available in Australia listed in alphabetical order for the years 1924-1927. The chart shows the recommended grades of oil to be used. Inside of back cover lists the offices and branches of Vacuum Oil in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. In Western Australia they were in St. Georges Terrace, Perth and Thompson Rd. North Fremantle, Bunbury, and Kalgoorlie. This book was part of an anonymous donation from a demolition company who found a number of publications in a house they were demolishing. They just dumped the box with the Museum and left without giving details of the address etc.
