The book is a collection of codes to do with various substances, ranging from code 'A' to code 'E'. There is also a list of chemicals and how they should be dealt with. The pages are hole punched, and they are held in on a six ring ring-binder system. The book has a dark green plastic cover with 'Chemical / Data / Code' on front in gold print. Actual title of the book is 'Guide to / Safe Handling/ of / Hazardous / Materials / in the / Stevedoring Industry' issued by the Accident Prevention Organisation. This particular edition was owned by J.P. Smith. 130 pages long.
