Oblong packet of 'Lady Jayne' brand hair pins. Packet consists of cardboard back, printed in purple and yellow (with the name 'Lady Jayne' in white), with oblong plastic upper, glued onto cardboard. Contains approximately 16 pins made from wire bent in half and coated in plastic. The shafts of the pins are waved, and the ends are balled with plastic. Inscription on reverse: 'Lady Jayne/ 25 HAIR PINS/ DEEPLY CRIMPED TO GRIP/ ROLLERS AND HOLD HAIR SECURELY/ GENTLE TO THE HAIR AND SCALP WITH CUSHIONED TIPS AND SMOOTH FINISH./ MADE IN ENGLAND./ FOR RAINSFORDS AUST./ 2824'. Bar code included. Bright yellow price tag '$0.98', glued on.
