Notebook with black cardboard cover. Pages are lined and have red margins on both edges. 1st page says 'MEDICAL/ GUIDE', in black ink. Pages have been cut along their outer edge and are left with a tab which has a letter from A to W on the tab in black. X, Y and Z have been left blank. Different medical diagnoses, cures, ailments, medical descriptions have been handwritten into the pages - corresponding with the appropriate letter. Some newspaper clippings have been inserted loosely. Book held together with 2 staples.
