The first six pages have been used to advertise, Perth business', along with the book's Contents and Illustration lists. The remaining 4 back pages, have also been used for advertisements, including Wunderlich Ltd, Sunday Times & Peet & Co. Ltd. The book contains short stories and verses about World War I, and Western Australia, including an article 'Old Perth: Some Early History'. Colour plates, illustrations and photos relevant to Western Australia are throughout the book.
