BADGE, 'To the Women of Australia'
H1989.960
Brass plated badge, circular in shape with a projecting crown at the top and a bar attached by links below. Within a border of laurel leaves is inscribed "TO THE WOMEN OF AUSTRALIA" and there is a small relief map of Australia at the centre within an inner border of laurel leaves. Two stars have been attached to the bar. On the reverse is printed "ISSUED BY THE / C'WLTH GOVT / N12189 / G & E RODD / 1940". Attached to the top of the crown is a broken length of fine chain.
