Round gold-coloured metal badge, with enamelled colour face. Australian flag in centre, within gold background. This is encircled by ring of blue, with words in gold on the blue background. "WOMEN'S AUXILIARY/ R.S.S.I.L.A". Single horizontal pin looped into hook on reverse of badge. Embossed on reverse "STOKES & SON/MELB".
