Jacket of black silk velvet in short paletot style; round neck; front closure with 2 rows of 11 glossy black resin (?) buttons, joined with loops of black cotton tape; shaped lower edge; edges trimmed with decoration of fine black cotton tape with glass beads; large pagoda sleeves, trimmed with same decoration plus 6 buttons; lined with white glazed cotton, the lower parts lin with cream silk taffeta; handsewn throughout.
