Child's or baby's stays of 2 layers of white cotton, the inside coarser, the outer a fine twill; standard shape with shoulder straps of cotton tape; edges bound with tape; 3 buttons at back , 3 on front, all buttonhole-worked over metal ring 1.8 cm diameter; handsewn throughout.
