Black ribbed silk. Standing collar, with m/c lace overlay. Fastens do front with 12 black buttons. Wide panel of lace down either side, hiding joining seam with original material. Row of black, velvet braid. Original fronts cut in 2 pieces, back in 6 with 2 bones. Original lined with checked glazed cotton, added section with brownish glazed cotton. 2 central back panels extend into basque Petersham waist band sewn into back section. All machine sewn. Possibly may have been worn with CH80/438, although material is different gaug Worn by a member of the Harper family at Woodbridge.
