Evening cape. Black. Taffeta lining, with 18cm 1 trim of knife pleated silk gauze, edged with ruching. Overlay of black machine lace with heavy guipure (machine) applique. Stand-up collar of knife pleated gauze and 2 long ties in gauze with silk tassels at fastening. Fastens with 4 hooks. Label: 'PETER ROBINSON/ OXFORD STREET.' Ref. A.M.
