Cream, silk blouse. Decorated in circular bands of ribbon and lace, alternating from above the bustline to neckline. Wide, gathered piece of silk with lace trim across bustline. Pouched.
Sleeve close fitting to elbow, loose and full below. Elbow decorated with lace strip. Gathered at wrist with 3 joined lace strips.
Neckline - high, round, trimmed with lace.
Lining - cotton under top of sleeve and across bustline.
Trimmings - lace and silk ribbon.
Fastenings - 8 hooks and eyes, 3 buttons and drawstrings at back. 3 hooks and eyes at wrists.
Part hand, part machine stitched. Machine made lace.
