DRESSING GOWN, 1870's?

Gown of white, self-striped cotton; one piece, slightly shaped to waist; high round neck; wide, square collar; straight central panel from neck to floor, composed of horizontal tucks trimmed with broad band of machine embroidery; sleeves of curved 1850s-60s style, piped at shoulders, foldback cuffs; deep self frill at hem; gloves inserted at back, gathered to form long train; belt of pale pink cotton, pink silk bow at front, "apron" of shaped, decorated basques at back to sit over gathered gloves; opens at left front to 3/4 length; 5 buttons and loops.
Not a day gown - romantic déshabillé?
Sleeves and basques suggest 1860s; front panel and train suggest 1870s; whitework suggests c. 1900.
