Doughty This small species is dark brown to almost black, with red highlights on the snout and upper arms and on the sides a bluish hue with white dots. The skin is covered with raised tubercles giving it a roughened appearance. Breeding Biology Males call near flowing water associated with sandstone outcrops. Habitat Associated with sandstone platforms and boulders. Etymology micra means 'small'. General This recently discovered species was initially identified by its unique call.
