Events

Community events have taken part in Exmouth for many years, ever since Exmouth became a community in 1967.

We love to celebrate by making floats in Exmouth! Parades with floats were once a Exmouth tradition, when the US base was active.

We have had clubs (they have changed over many years) we have tennis, swimming, netball and football, markets and we have had a U.S.A. influence in our town's events as well, such as the Fourth of July, Gala Ball and of course Halloween.

There have also been some recent community events, influenced by by our town instead of the USA. That is the Whale Shark Festival. We celebrate the whale sharks coming for the winter. We have stalls, food, entertainment and rides.
