Join us for a Batavia Lecture presentation in which Bob will discuss the qualities of one of the most famous exploration ships in the world. This will be illuminated with reference to a magnificent model by Clive Gordon that will allow us to visualise Dampier's renowned ship for the first time. Bob will also discuss other renowned exploration vessels including Uranie and Casuarina, Recherche and L’EsperanceGeographe and Naturaliste, Mermaid, Bathurst and Investigator.

Cost: $12 per person. Includes light refreshments after the lecture.
