ShipwreckSpecial Event | Updated 1 decade ago North Mole Wreck Photo by Pat Baker Presented by Contemporary Performance Students (2nd Year), Edith Cowan University, Directed by Dr Alan Hancock. Celebrating National Archaeology Week 2012 and Fremantle Heritage Festival 2012 Join us for an original theatre presentation that uses drama, music and movement to bring to life the Shipwreck Galleries. For over four centuries ships have come to grief on the reefs and rocks of the West Australian coastline. ‘Shipwreck’ creates a performance journey that weaves through a treasure-house of artefacts rescued from the sea bed around WA. This offers a poetic, humorous, evocative and thought provoking experience for anyone who has ever enjoyed stories of ships and shipwrecks.
