Seaweek at the WA Museum - Geraldton

Celebrate Seaweek 2013 at the Western Australian Museum – Geraldton from March 3 - 9!

Seaweek is an annual celebration of the sea, with this year’s theme ‘Sustainable Seas’ focusing on appreciating the diversity of the ocean and how we can contribute to the sustainability of the marine environment.

Throughout Seaweek fish feeding sessions will be held at the aquarium twice daily at 11am and 2pm, and will include commentary on the fish and sustainable fishing for aquariums.

A special Small Fry session will be held 10am, Wednesday March 6 for participants aged 0 – 5, centering on the adventures of a tiny baby turtle as it hatches out of the nest on the beach and begins its life in the ocean and the Leeuwin Current.

Small Fry and the fish feeding sessions are free with no bookings necessary, however, bookings are required for school groups. For further information call the WA Museum – Geraldton on 9921 5080
