The Western Australian Museum is proud to present Remembering Sydney as part of the 70th Anniversary commemoration events taking place in Geraldton. The seminar series will review the science, the passion and excitement of the ship’s discovery in 2008, but will also honour the memory of those that were lost so tragically 70 years ago.

Join the Western Australian Museum Maritime’s Adjunct Professor Dr Michael McCarthy, Curator of Maritime Archaeology, Ted Graham, Ex-Chairman Finding Sydney Foundation, Professor Kim Kirsner, Dr Roger Neill, Defence Science and Technology Organisation, Commander Matthew Blenkin, Royal Australian Navy, and Charles Smith and Joan Walsh-Smith, creators of the HMAS Sydney II Memorial in the marking of this important occasion.
