Heat up a tasty snack using the energy of the sun in the ‘Pizza Box Solar Oven’ activity

Experience the power of renewable energies at the Western Australian Museum – Geraldton during the July school holidays. Through a range of fun workshops and activities, discover the big six renewable energy sources and their impact on our lives today, tomorrow and beyond.

Energy Corner in the Discovery Centre will be a hive of activity for the whole family this school holiday period.

Have a go at ‘Six to Fix’ - Can you identify the six sustainable energies and the science behind them? Or ‘Strain or Sustain’ - which one will rule the world: fossil fuels or sustainable energy? Can you solve ‘It’s a Winding Up’ by putting together turning cogs and a swinging pendulum to discover the workings of clockwork energy? And why not discover your inner Einstein at ‘Electro Lab’!
