Volunteer guiding a group on the Submarine Tour

The Western Australian Museum manages a dynamic and engaging volunteer program and there are many opportunities for people to become involved with the Museum and part of a friendly team of volunteers. No experience is necessary as all training is provided and there are many benefits of joining the Museum as a volunteer including an annual free family pass, free training sessions and all uniforms are provided free of charge. Volunteers play a key role in assisting the museum to share knowledge with the community and there are a number of areas of the Maritime Museum which are currently offering volunteer positions.

We are running an information session on the roles of volunteers within the Maritime Museum. This information session is designed to give people interested in becoming volunteers an overview of the positions on offer, a chance to chat to a current volunteer and a free morning tea to mingle and chat in an informal atmosphere.

LOCATION: The information session will be held at The Meeting Place, 245 South Tce, Fremantle.
BOOKING: This event is free but bookings are essential, contact Anna Micha on anna.micha@museum.wa.gov.au or 9431 8325.
