The exhibition focuses on the shared story of Yirra Yaakin, highlighting key moments and successes in the Company’s history. Exhibition Program includes free film sessions and performances of Kep Kaatijin by David Milroy and in association with Derek Nannup. This coincides with the publication by Currency Press of Ialaru: A Celebration: 21 years of sharing Aboriginal stories. This book and other published works by the Company will be available for purchase at the Western Australian Museum – Perth. The exhibition program includes selected screenings of archived performances every Wednesday and Sunday 11.00am & 2.00pm Program A at 11.00am: Documentary Shakespeare’s Sonnets in Noongar (22 mins), Windmill Baby (70 mins) Program B at 2.00pm: Documentary Shakespeare’s Sonnets in Noongar (22 mins), Waltzing the Wilarra (2hours 20mins) Screenings are in the Museum Tunnel theatrette.
