The fossil shark hunter
Thursday 30 Sept & Saturday 2 Oct
with Dr Mikael Siversson

Find out why Western Australia is one of the best places in the world to find fossil sharks from the age of the dinosaurs. Sharks have evolved into an amazingly diverse group of animals inhabiting lakes, rivers and the oceans. Some feed on plankton whereas others, recently extinct, were as big as a bus and swam up and down the coast of Western Australia in search of their favourite prey, the giant baleen whales.
