A Walk in the Forest - 6.30pm, Friday 7 January 2011

Join our special expert guests for a night walk to welcome in the UN International Year of Forests 2011. Come along and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the nocturnal Australian forest and the creatures that inhabit it after twilight. (Please bring a torch)

Recycled Botany - 1.00pm, Mondays 10, 17 & 24 January 2011

Make your own botanical specimen press using recycled materials. Learn how to present your specimens as botanists do.
Cost: $7

Reduce, Reuse and Fuse - 1.00pm, Tuesdays 11, 18 & 25 January 2011

Fuse poly shopping bags together and repurpose them into something useful like a shopping tote, lunch satchel or pencil case.
Cost: $7

Earth Kaleidoscope - 1.00pm, Wednesdays 12 & 19 January 2011

See the world through the colours of the rainbow when you utilise recycled materials to build a custom made, one of a kind kaleidoscope.
Cost: $7

Mould and Deckle - 1.00pm, Thursdays 13, 20 & 27 January 2011

Try your hand at the ancient art of paper making and create a variety of unusual materials from the natural world.
Cost: $7

Classy Glass - 1.00pm, Fridays 14, 21 & 28 January 2011

Repurpose that familiar used glass vessel into useful and beautiful works of art using a range of techniques and interesting glass based materials.
Cost: $7
Duration: All workshops are approximately 2 hours long
