Visit the Wharenui (“big house” or “meeting house”), try your hand at the tricky Ti Rakau (a game involving rhythmically tapping and throwing sticks), add your design to the totem pole and learn to speak Maori whilst you decorate a tiki wall hanger. Join us as we explore 'Waka', the traditional ocean-going canoes that brought the first Maori people to New Zealand.
