WA Maritime Museum

Photographer Martin Mischkulnig and author Tim Winton take us on a journey through out-of-the-way parts of Australia. Mischkulnig’s stunning large format photographs of outback settlements combine with Winton’s meditation on small town life. The quirky humour of the images is tinged with a sense of unease, evoking similar feelings to Winton’s novels.

Exhibition on 10 December 2010 – 20 February 2011.

Supported by Visions and the Historic Houses Trust
