NIGHTGOWN
CH1976.425
White nightgown. Full length and with long sleeves. Bodice pintucked with 2 lace insertions. Broderie anglaise frill down front, on collar & on cuffs. 2 buttons. Some pintucking apparently removed under bodice. All machine sewn and machine made embroidery. Extra material sewn into skirt at both sides and seams. Style and large collar suggest possibly a date of 1890's-early 1900's?
