Cream silk. Yoked, with long sleeves, gathered above wrist and second tier. Insertions of machine bobbin lace (imitation Maltese) and pin-tucks, with lace frill around second tier and hem of cape. Feather stitch embroidery. All machine sewn. May match robe CH80.496. Reference: YESTERDAY'S SHOPPING, 1969, page 783 and Buck & Cunnington, CHILDREN'S COSTUME IN ENGLAND, page 154.
