End of jacket double-piped. Original front fastening probably hooks. Sleeves close-fitting elbow-length with 2 frills of lace at neck and 2 rows of blue braid. 2 long bones curved each side of front fastening, one in each side seam and short bone centre back, ending at basque. Hem braided with woollen braid and lining with c. 14cms of blue silk. Black petersham waistband probably not original. Tuck in waistband by fastening (very poorly sewn). Fastens with 2 hooks and eyes. Original side opening may have been at seam which is oversewn at edges but centre roughly joined (near existing opening). Seams all hand-sewn. Some have been poorly re-sewn.
(c) Evening bodice to be worn with same skirt (b) Blue as (a & b). Wide round neck with silk ribbon draw tape. Back fastening with eyelet holes. Very short sleeves of 3 'petal' sections of blue, edged with black velvet ribbon and cream, machine-made lace.
