BODICE

CH1978.184

Waist length, round waist, short 'cap' sleeves. Deep round neck with draw-tape. Front fastening with 10 hooks - (several modern). Bodice boned, 2 on each side, 3 at back. No central back seam. (Side bones may have been removed). Cotton lining. All machine sewn. Chiffon overlayer, knife pleating and slight pouching in front. May match skirt CH78.183 but satin is different colour.
