Parts of summer uniform of Colonel Ronald Ireland, MBE, ED (a) Shirt, part of summer uniform. Khaki coloured with six brown buttons down front and one on each epaulette and breast pocket and two on each sleeve. Two bars of colours as W77/2 a. Badges on epaulettes: crown / two badges in shape of crown (pips) with "TRIA JUNCTA IN UNO / R". Rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Collar marked "15 1 / 2 32 - SLEEVE". Label inside neck: "Class 8405 / 66 - 2259 / REGIMENTAL No .... / NAME ....". Label at tail: "MACHINE WASHABLE / DO NOT BOIL / DRIP DRY / WARM IRON / GLO-WEAVE PTY LTD / 1964 (arrow) VIC." (b) Jacket. Summer weight, khaki-coloured. Four large brass buttons down front. One small brass button on each of epaulettes and four front pockets. One brass badge on each lapel: crown / rays of sun form circle with "VIGILANS" / swan in centre and "11 / 44th INFANTRY BATTALION" around outside. / Bar: "CITY OF PERTH REGIMENT". Shoulder badges. One removed at top / crown / pip as W77/4 a. Matching cloth belt with brass buckle and two green buttons. No label. Dates from about 1950.
