Naval uniform of Mr V. Hunt, Chief Engine Room Artificer. All navy blue wool. (a) Jacket: double-breasted with six plastic buttons. Black lining. 34 buttons (as W77.72a) in bag in pocket. (b) Trousers: front button fastening. "MED 979745 (?)" in ink on pocket lining. [Band of colours (detached) as W77/72.] (c) Cap: wide navy band, black peak and chin strap. Red lining and "(crown) / (shield) G.B. / GROSE BROS. / Cap / Specialists / 67 / 8".
