[.a] Jacket: khaki, red collar tabs with one strip of red braid and brass button. Four brass buttons down front, one on each breast pocket. Three bars of colours and one row for medals. Khaki epaulettes, with brigadier pips and badge: 'crown/ EIIR' in metal. Woollen belt. Detachable black perspiration pads.
[.b] Trousers: khaki, wool.
[.c] Tie: khaki, viyella.
[.d] Cap: khaki wool. Wide scarlet band. Leather chin strap with brass button fasteners. Badge in front: gold-coloured lion over red velvet crown. Label inside crown of cap: 'COMMONWEALTH/ GOVERNMENT/ CLOTHING FACTORIES/ MELBOURNE'. Stamped over label in ink: '7' in circle. Inside vinyl lining at front: 'MTX / 106 0 / 8 / 880 / 7 / D (arrow) D'. In blue biro: 'K'.
[.e] Belt: Sam Browne style. Brown leather, wide waist section and over the shoulder strap. Brass studs and buckles. Belt buckles around waist, and clips onto brass stud. Shoulder strap passes over right shoulder (over epaulette) and buckles at front. 'G.P. Hunt' stamped on inside of waist and shoulder sections.
