Postcard, with black and white photograph of industrial town with smoke pouring from chimneys. "WHEN THE HEART OF THE POTTER REJOICES!" in bottom left hand corner, "549" in opposite corner. Reverse, "ONE PENNY' red and white stamp with postmark, 'KNUTSFORD/ 9.45 PM/ MY 30/ 12" in right hand upper corner. Address on right half of postcard "Miss M Riley/ Bishops House/ Perth/ W. Australia" handwritten in ink. Message on left side of card, "I hope I shall not/ See much of this/ Church on left = parish/ Church where I shall be/ C.L.R" handwritten in ink.
