Postcard, colour (hand painted?) seaside scene of Naples, buildings and road in foreground meet the sea and climb up to the hills in the background. Reverse; two postmarks on upper right of postcard, one closest to corner, "TORI/ 1928/ ESPO/ APRILE - OTT", the other, "NAPOLI ROMA/ 22-23/ 22.IV/ 28.VI". Address on right hand side of postcard, "Archbishop Riley/ Perth/ Western Australia". Message on left side, "NAPLES, 22-4-28/ My Dear Archbishop -/ Just arrived from/ Malta, via Scicily./ Prime Minister Lord/ Strickland sends very/ kindest regards.(previous three words underlined) Had/ wonderful time at/ Malta - Trust well./ Affectionately/ R.S.Sampson
