Lower right hand corner, "J. J., 7438, Les Avants et la Dent du Midi". Reverse, upper right hand corner, red and white stamp, featuring a woman in robes with mountain scenery in background, "HELVETICA" above woman, "10" to her right. Post mark, "LAUSANNE/ 11.V.10.-12/ EXP. LE..?". Address on right hand side of postcard, "Miss C. P. Riley/ Old Hall/ Newnham College/ Cambridge/ Anglelerre". Message on left hand side of card, "43. av. du Leman/ May 11.1910/ I hope to make a moon-/ -light expedition here. When/ does Trip begin? The best/ of health and papers to you!/ Good-bye. I am so/ busy & jolly. Take care/ of yourself. Have you / seen the comet?/ Poor England/ Yours ever/ D.S.".
