Top photograph is aerial view of Rundle Mall, showing silver sphere sculpture, trees, building on left side, and pedestrians. Bottom image of people walking and sitting on benches in Rundle Mall. 1mm wide white border surrounds all three images. ‘ADELAIDE’ and ‘South Australia’ printed in black across bottom. Faint greyscale image of Adelaide skyline across cream coloured card on reverse. Forty-five cent stamp with image of flying reptile ‘Ornithocheirux’ in top right corner. Small, square, black ink stamp with three Sturt Deseart Peas and ‘BANK SA’ partially covering stamp. Square, black ink, postmark with ‘ADELAIDE/6-PM/20 JUL/1994/S.AUST.5000’ at centre top of card. Handwritten in black biro across back left side is ’30-7-94/Dear Hazel,/In Adelaide for a week & loving every/second. I have purchased a swag of jewellery/at very reasonable prices. Ned Roberts was in Perth/for the Hall sale & says he sold some/Addis brooches there, but that’s always his storey [sic], from what I am told. Can/put you onto 2 Jackson WWI brooches/if you want for $200 to $225./Museums & Galleries are “FANTASTIC”/here & I am sorry it comming [sic] to an end./love Ian.’ Postcard addressed to ‘Hazel Nash/17 Price St/Fremantle/W.A./6160’ in black biro on right. ‘BARTEL/COLLECTORS WORLD/(02) 318 0848’ printed in black at bottom centre.
