Brown-grey thin cardboard 1949 calendar. Top half has print of a photograph entitled 'River Scene' pasted on with printed brown border. Foreground of print shows deciduous tree with autumn leaves over hanging river, background shows series of willow and gum trees along bank. Centre of calendar, printed in bold brown capitals in various font sizes is 'With Compliments from/ Telephone: M 1852/ T.S. GREENWELL RADIO SALES & SERVICE TECHNICIAN/ REPAIRS PICKED UP AND DELIVERED/ SATISFACTION GUARANTEED/ 673 ALBANY HIGHWAY/ VICTORIA PARK'.
Bottom half is calendar proper of 1949 within a boxed border. The 1949 Moon Phases are listed on either side. On top of printed calendar is stapled a tear off calendar with leaves for each month. The owner of the calendar has pinned a short newspaper clipping on 'CHRISTMAS BUTTER RATION' on to the January page. Article informs reader that the 'Director of Rationing' has approved an addition to the normal Christmas butter rationing of 1949.
Pencilled notes cover calendar. Metal edging on top and bottom of calendar. Paper hook. Sticky tape on top edge.
