Reproduction of photograph entitled 'The Crossing' on top half of calendar. Photograph is of a herd of cattle and two drovers on horseback crossing the river. In the background is the river bank with trees, the foreground shows the emerging from the river. A decorative border surrounds the photo. Middle section of calendar has imprinted in bold black, 'With compliments from/ N. ONESTI/ Fruiterer and Greengrocer/ Ice Cream, Cool Drinks, Tobacco and Cigarettes/ 4248965 Albany Road, VICTORIA PARK'. Lower half of calendar has calendar proper of 1943. A light brown coloured background. Pencilled notes of names and addresses are on the front and back of the calendar. The top and bottom of the calendar are edged in metal. Paper tag as hook.
