Black and white photograph print entitled 'His Majesty King George VI, which has been heavily retouched. King George VI is bearing medals and the St. George cross. There is a touch of lipstick and make-up on him. Photographic print is bordered with an orange and white scroll. Background of entire calendar is a patchwork of light orange and cream squares. Centre of calendar in bold black print is 'The Season's Greetings from/ Phone M 1089/ G. JAGER/ Family Butcher/ 400 Albany Road, Victoria Park/ Orders called for and delivered'.
Lower half is calendar proper of 1942, encased in an orange border. Metal edging along top and bottom of calendar, with paper hook for hanging.
