Print of oil painting entitled 'Iceland Poppies' takes up first half of calendar. The painting is of a dark blue vase filled with pink, orange and yellow poppies with purple flowers, on a grey-green background. Underneath is the inscription - 'With compliments from/ CORLETT BROS. (Late A.I.F.)/ Bakers 221 GREAT EASTERN HIGHWAY/ BELMONT/ Our Specialities: Procera, White, Wholemeal, Slimming, Diabetic, and Cremalt - 1st Prize Winner 1939 Royal Show/ Deliveries Daily -- 'PHONE: M 1278'. On left of inscription is a picture of a packet of Bushells 'The tea of flavour'. On the right is a picture of Bushells Pure Coffee, 'Vacuum Packed Stays Fresh'. Bottom half of calendar is calendar proper of 1941. The background colour of calendar is yellow. Top and bottom are edged in metal, with metal hook at top. Numerous pencilled notes and ink notes cover calendar, mainly titles of musical compositions and composers.
