Light yellow background. Top half of calendar is a bordered picture of a girl with rosy red cheeks using big black telephone placed on wooden art deco table. Background colour is a shade darker than the yellow background of the calendar. Floor is an orange-brown colour. In centre of calendar in dark blue and in various font sizes - 'With Compliments from/ J.D. SKETCHLEY/ WHOLESALE AND RETAIL BUTCHER/ 361 Wellington Street PERTH/ Phone: B 5749 -- Meat is Strength'.
On left is a picture of an opened packet of Bushells tea with a pile of tea. 'The tea of flavour' printed in a rose colour.
On right is a picture of Bushells Pure Coffee. The bottom half of calendar is calendar proper of 1942, bordered in a rose colour. Pencilled and ink-written notes found on front. Metal edging on top and bottom of calendar. Top hook is bent.
