Calendar card. Colour illustration of garden with river and boat in foreground in centre of card. Caption in blue "AN ITALIAN GARDEN A. de Breanski, Junr.". Proverb in brown at bottom of card "True happiness consists not/ in the multitude of friends, / But in their worth and choice./ Anon." White ribbon loop at top of card. A small white flip-calendar hangs down from card, attached with two pieces of pale blue ribbon. On cover of calendar in blue "Best Wishes". Each page of calendar has dates printed in brown, stitched to card with white cotton. All pages of calendar still intact. Front page of calendar "1933 JANUARY 1933". Hand printed message on reverse of card in brown ink "Phoebe,/ Here's hoping I'll see you/ more in 1933./ Anne".
