TENNIS DRESS

H1994.48

Off white tennis dress with divided skirt made from material known as tennis silk. The dress consists of a skirt and bodice. The bodice has shirt collar, two patch pockets and short cuffed sleeves, and is fastened at centre front with two buttons. The buttons are off white plastic with a silver tennis racket and ball embedded across them. The culotte skirt is cut on the cross and has six inverted pleats, giving fullness at the hem. Th skirt and bodice are joined at the waist. The skirt opens left of centre front, fastening with four press studs, three at waist , and one 16.5cm from waist. There is a belt loop stitched at each side seam. A small off white cotton size tag , with 'W' stitched in red is sewn at the back of the neck.
