Date: c. 1600
Although there were many smiths of this name and style (Mino Seki) working from the 14th to 19th centuries, this wakizashi blade shows evidence of being from the early Shinto period.

Tsuka: white same, bound with brown cotton, over wood

Fuchi/kashira: fuchi missing, kashira plain brass
Menuki: missing

Tsuba: naga-maru-gata shape, one ryo kitsu plugged, flat shishiaibori. Obverse decorated with butterfly and chrysanthemums in mist; reverse, with chrysanthemums in mist
