BLADE: Type - Shoto. Mei: SETTSU JU YOSHIKUNI. Sugata: 'shinogi tsukuri, iori mune. Nakago: two 'mekugi ana'. Kissaki: 'ko'. Hada: unclear due to abrasion. Hamon: wide 'gonome midare', 'yakidashi', 'sudare', 'toran'. Form: Shinogi Tsukuri; ridge (shinogi) - parallel. Ridge width (shinogi-ji) - normal. Blade taper (funbari) - slight. Back (mune) - medium ihore.
Signed Yoshi Kuni, 1661. No fittings except Habaki collar.
